AI product photography for pet product brands
Updated ยท Stillhouse
The short answer
Stillhouse photographs every collar, bed, toy and bag of treats in your range in one set, with the product and its label checked against your own photo. A pet in the frame is an AI-generated animal, so check it before you publish.
Photographing pet products
Pet products are bought by people who care a great deal about what they put on their animal. A collar has to look sturdy, a bed has to look soft and a bag of food has to show what is inside.
The range is wide, from a ten-gram toy to a large bed, and the products rarely share a shape. A single set that suits all of them is what holds the shop together.
Common photo problems
- 01
Soft goods lose their texture
Fleece beds, rope toys and knitted bandanas show their material in directional light.
- 02
Scale is hard to read
A bowl, a bed and a lead have to look the size they are. A pet or a familiar object beside them tells the customer.
- 03
Food packaging has fine print
Ingredient panels, flavour names and weight are small print on a flexible bag.
- 04
Animals are hard to generate
A pet in the frame can come back with the wrong anatomy. Look closely at every frame that includes one.
What the studio does about it
- Product checked against your photo. The studio compares each frame with the photo you uploaded for shape, colour and print.
- Labels from your photo. The flavour and ingredients on a food bag are restored from your product photo.
- Flagged when doubtful. A frame the checks are unsure about is delivered flagged with the reason in plain words.
The shot list for pet products

Questions
Can the frame show a pet using the product?
Yes, with an AI-generated animal. Animals are the hardest subject in the studio, so check the anatomy and the fit of the product before you publish.
Will the label on a bag of treats be right?
The label is restored from your product photo, so it is as good as the photo. Photograph the front straight on and sharp.
Does it work for a large range?
Yes. Once the set is built, products are photographed in it one after another, and new ones can be photographed as they arrive.
